your restaurant & wish we could do more to support businesses like yours. What I cannot do is jail people because of their addiction or double down on the failed war on drugs. We need to make it easier to get help than it is to get high in SF.

I know even a single crime can make us feel unsafe -that's why we're working hard to reduce crime. And over the last two months crime is down about 40%.

That’s honestly impossible to believe when you walk down the streets here. Doesn’t feel more safe. What about the open air drug dealing by violent criminals?

The only thing in my mind that would explain a 40% drop in crime in the city is the fact that they’re probably not enforcing any laws.
