It's not just about Trump. His policy in general toward NK has been good - his assurances he would walk if he didn't like the talks is good. But giving KJU the prestige of a POTUS summit was a questionable move - especially based on how NK operates. This summarizes my thinking

Well I have never quite understood the "prestige" thing when it comes to diplomacy. FDR aligned with Stalin to fight Nazis, Nixon met with Mao to "open" China, etc. Far worse actors historically. I hope you made the same argument with Obama and Raul.
