I didn't really find the show that political. I mean, there were some inoffensive anti/pro Trump insults throw back and forth by the sisters, which is reflection of what many families go through.

If anything, the storyline with the grandson was one of compassion. It seems weird to say this about a sitcom, but I found the discussion far more realistic than the ones I see online on that topic.
