Color me skeptical. But stranger things =>https://twitter.com/hotlinejosh/status/968553250235568128 …
Oh c'mon. He might be wrong but he's not going to trash his own rep as a forecaster by purposely mischaracterizing a race for some political motivation.

No one in the media is going to call out cook for changing a lean r to tossup, not a soul among them. As long as dems can get their “tossup” headline he will get all the praise in the world. Wasn’t there a nyt article just last week about “its time the left played dirty?”
-
There's nothing to call out. Forecasters look at polling & early voting & a whole bunch of data and make their call. It's a forecast. If they're wrong too often people stop listening & they're out of a job.
-
By making it tossup he’s not putting credibility on the line and dems get the headline they want. I’m saying he’s in on it, which I believe most polling firms are
-
Believe what you want if it makes you feel better. But that's not the case.

I suspect there will be massive amounts of union voter fraud and probly bus people in from Pittsburgh. And since the district map is “up in the air” anyone can vote. I’ll bet you money something like that will happen
-
You have to start accepting that sometimes you lose & it's not fraud. Having said that I don't think you'll lose this one. But guess what it actually happens.
-
I don’t think we’re going to lose this either. I just think we’re witnessing the depths of misinformation the left is willing to engage in to make it seem like we’re losing. That’s the point I’m trying to make
-
Your point is wrong and you're roping in legit analysts & forecasters w/ political partisans. Partisans on all sides engage in spin. It's politics; it's their job. Forecasters look at data & make a call. They can be wrong. It's embarrassing. They can also be right.
-
Well see, I just think the confluence of announcements about lamb seem too convenient. The same day it comes out he’s against an abortion ban in a red district all this good news comes his way? I’m a skeptic because I’m not stupid and can see how the games played
