It's like with the stock market and unemployment. If you're going to credit trump when they're good (and by the way, they've simply been following a trajectory since obama), then it would be dishonest to shield him from any blame when they're bad. Just as an example.

And I agree w/ that example. Important to be intellectually honest. I think you could make an argument that some policies might lead to more robust growth vs. others. But on the issue of giving credit/blame, concur.

@guypbenson has a narrative to push. Maybe we can call it something else. But if you're going to tout the "good news" and attribute it to a specific event, them don't ignore the "bad news". Otherwise, you're just pushing ONE narrative. -
It would depend on how a fan of the tax bill responds when presented w/ counter evidence. I haven't seen his comments on this but it's not like he never criticizes the Right. He does - plenty.
