How long does @realDonaldTrump savor his victory before he steps on it w/ a Twitter tirade on some completely unnecessary subject? Usually can't make it very long.
I don't know that any of that is true but I have described this achievement as a win for him and said that his more cooperative approach to dealing w/ Rs in Congress is among the reasons it happened.

Sometimes it's hard to deal with Rs in congress. Among Dems there's unity.
-
It's the president's job to forge intra-party unity. He's the leader of the party. The job comes w/ responsibilities.

Much of the GOPe is bought and paid for. Their agenda is opposite of Trump and the American people's agenda on immigration, trade and the national interest. Only so much he can do there
-
They're not any more bought & paid for than Trump & the country is generally split. The center-left isn't w/ Trump.
-
Trump will need moderates, Hispanics (and they will vote for him b/c they want Jobs, Houses and Stability) and Whites who usually don't vote, b/c next to a Dem candidate there'll be Kasich as a neocon spoiler. If Trump has 4 successful years he should run as an Independent.
-
Trump has a big problem w/ moderates because of his style. Not his policies per se. Enough to like there. His style repels mods.

Next year will be different. He learns quickly.
-
He's a smart person and he learns but people his age don't change. Doesn't mean he won't win re-election but he has challenges, as any pol does.
