China is a one party republic, not a dictatorship. It’s corrosive to its system of government to suggest its premier can act like it’s a dictatorship

I find this to be a distinction w/out much of a difference.

Previously there has been a distinction between how the Chinese government has managed succession vs dictatorships. Xi has been able to consolidate more power recently, but it’s not right to accept China should be run like a dictatorship
