its not different in any way than looking at the Confederate constitution and realizing that Presidential term limits are a good idea

There's a difference between revering ideas & the men who are responsible for them from certain actions. This does a disservice to Founders

its not any different at all. 8 of the original 13 colonies had slavery, including NY. Washington owned hundreds of slaves, so did Jefferson
