McConnell isn't slow-walking Trump's appointments. Congress is not designed to rubber stamp the exec branch.
..his success & why R voters like him. But it's counterproductive to governing. That's what I think.

They're not refusing to confirm conservative judges. McConnell held open a SC seat just to do this. But I'll look into this (again.)

they've confirmed less than 1/4 of judges he's nominated though. I mean what word would you prefer to apply to that?

Your critique on canceling recess, etc might have merit. I'm just telling you McConnell doesn't oppose conservative judges.

i think what's more relevant is that there's a group of GOP Senators that want Trump to fail & think not staffing his govt is a way to do it
