McConnell isn't slow-walking Trump's appointments. Congress is not designed to rubber stamp the exec branch.

Apples & Oranges. Obama was elected w/ more support than Trump. GOP was deeper minority but still had the 60-vote filibuster for noms.

..it makes them more resistant to him & makes them even more hesitant to take tough votes. If they felt that he was in the fight w/ them..
