I disagree. There is still a constituency in the GOP for his foreign policy views.

McCain is truly hated by anyone who pays attention. Beltway Insiders love him while rich business people are naive and not paying attention
-
I like you. But naive to assume that everyone agrees w/ you. Big country, lots of views.
-
I like you too. But my point is, 75% voted DT and Cruz. I know many folks who have had McCain over for fundraisers. Even they are over him
-
Fair enough. We just disagree. There is a constituency for hawkish/neo-con FP in the GOP - it's still there.

Got to fly... thanks for the convo. Talk soon

Oh yeah? So why did Lindsey Graham, who shares his views, get 0%? Trump and Cruz won a combined what, 75% of primary vote?
-
One has nothing to do w/ the other. I talked to many R voters who thought Trump was putting on an act to get elected & would be "normal" GOP
-
I'm sure that's why they voted for him... gimme a break. Trump and Cruz rejected GOP idiotic foreign policy. They won combined ~75%.

Outside of the Beltway, there is very little desire to go to war over Crimea, intervene on behalf of Sunni Muslims in Muslim Civil Wars, etc
