Legitimization of free press feature of American democracy & should be example to others. Doesn't matter that an organization is global.

We live in the internet age. Anything he says domestically is broadcast throughout the world so I don't see to big of a distinction.

Symbolism of location matters, same as the fact that his speech today was given in Poland, whom Russians consider a satellite buffer state.
