If Trump were a Dem, the Repubs would howl about impropriety & inappropriateness of his interaction w/ Comey - & they'd have justification.

Not without proof they wouldn't. If @POTUS was a Dem we wouldn't know about any of this as #MSM would love him.

Same scenario - fired FBI director memo - yes they would ... The argument about the media a different issue.

There was clearly criminal activity in Bhengazi and cover up and most media, even when this became obvious downplayed or ignored it.

I'm not sure it rose to level of criminal activity - but I agree the media downplayed it & shouldn't have.

And unfortunately David if the media is against you, it's a large hill to climb, even when innocent.

In some cases, yes. Not in all cases. Plus even if media "is against" that doesn't absolve a politician of ethically questionable behavior

Can we agree that with this level of proof and intelligence response that if this was @POTUS44 or HRC the #MSM at least would wait and see.

seems like their reaction to Bill Clinton's meeting with Loretta Lynch is a pretty good guide to how they'd respond

and in that case, Clinton wasn't president and Lynch never alleged that he discussed the investigation with her

What's wrong with loyalty to your boss, efforts, family, or cause. We need more of it today. Most people roll over with the trends.

The FBI director is not some at-will employee in a private business, nor is he a political appointee in the traditional sense.

No he is the guy that gave immunity to the trigger man in a criminal case. Oops. Maybe some loyalty might have helped, probably not.

Trump is Guilty. That's the bottom line. Time to come to that end and fire him! Our government needs to get out of circus mode.
