Senate Intel hearing w/ Coats/Rogers did nothing 2 take heat off Trump. Added to drippy nature of matter, even tho nothing damning revealed
That's a separate issue. But I disagree. Obama was forced to address the IRS scandal because of a news story.

it has been a month or so since we have heard of the Comey memos. What happen to that?
-
Probably has to do w/ special counsel taking over. Might hear more about that tomorrow.
-
if there was anything that could put Trump in hot waters do you think it would not have been leaked already?
-
I think plenty has leaked that has put Trump in hot water - not legally but politically. The WH has declined to deny most of it.
-
You have hit the nail on the head. not legally but politically hence why we have these drips drips the last 5 months.
-
Yep. ... But I'd say that politics matters. It's about voters support & ability to get things done on the Hill.
-
I agree which is why I think we are seeing what we are seeing. The question is at the of the day will it have any long term impact?
-
Agreed. Big question.

Majority of scandals that the Obama admin had to answer to was because of actual evidence being released to the public/media
-
Fair enough. But your standard was responding to news stories. So it seems you take issue w/ what's in these news stories. OK, but clarity.
-
I should have clarify. Govt officials should have to answer to news stories if there is actual evidence being presented.
-
Fair point and position to hold. I think it's a bit more complex than that.

Not so much with this admin. We have people making claims to the media and the media and Dems running with it without proof.
