Most of the ones that I see on Twitter at least seem overly "class" conscious, which I always interpreted as a defense mechanism of sorts.

Sure tks. I'm sure many don't but media everywhere seems to be in a self imposed bubble that causes them to miss ground shifting underneath.

That's another matter. And I agree that happens quite often. But that's a professional failing that I think has little to do w/ elitism.

I think it's connected because they'll only listen to each other's take, when it is often conventional wisdom that is totally wrong.
