But its not true at all. MSM deliberately sucked all the oxygen out of the campaigns of everyone else.

That's a valid but separate issue.

Trump was treated as inevitable from day one. Media polls taken to prove the point they wanted to report on.
-
The polls were accurate, he clearly benefited from blanket coverage & softer questions than the rest.
-
The polls I was talking about were those by the media, not the normal ones.

@samsteinhp 2 things: 1st, everyone who attacked Trump faced onslaught of insults & saturation media; & his#s still went up -
True, but they didn't really try, not the way you try when you're trying to take someone down.
-
There was certainly a sense that he would eventually lose/candidates would need his supporters.
-
So they tried not to offend his base & By the time they attacked, it was from position of weakness

Only group with funds to try major takedown of Trump was R2R. Instead spent $80M vs Marco

Maybe not, but does anyone imagine that HRC's campaign didn't do oppo on every *potential* challenger? Still sloppy.
-
In fairness, she really only had one to worry about, but your point is still valid.
-
She had 1 declared challenger, but there were POTENTIAL challengers I'm sure they did at least initial oppo research on.
-
And Bush at least had the resources to do oppo research on all primary challengers. That he didn't was political malpractice.

And would any oppo research help when Fox, Ingraham, hannity, Breitbart were non stop propaganda machine for trump?
