@Falze_AMB@davidharsanyi My point was that you can't force Obama to sign/veto if you can't muster 60 votes in Senate to pass. That's all.

@DavidMDrucker@davidharsanyi are SCOTUS nominations now automatic unless 'disapproved' and that is subject to veto? -
@Falze_AMB@davidharsanyi Those are different. Those are confirmation votes. Still subject to filibuster. But non-SCOTUS judges only need 51

@DavidMDrucker@BarackObama@cehoskinson Defeatism. Congress hasn't even voted it down yet - one step at a time. -
@Ipaddlecanoe@BarackObama@cehoskinson True. But that's where the whip count begins. First need 6-7 Ds to overcome filibuster.

@DavidMDrucker@davidharsanyi wait wait wait. When did 'consent' become 'unless it is voted against'? Consent is now 60 votes?#madness -
@Falze_AMB@DavidMDrucker Ask Bob Corker. -
@davidharsanyi@Falze_AMB The law requiring the vote of approval/disapproval is subject to a filibuster. So need 60 Senate votes.
