@DavidMDrucker As w/ immig., they've had plenty of chances to act. Just because POTUS hasn't done as they wanted is no excuse for inaction. -
@_silversmith There's no rule that says a Congress has to act on a presidential priority. Refusing to act is an exercise of power. -
@DavidMDrucker And using Executive Authority is legal & legitimate, and is a way of POTUS accomplishing his or her job. -
@DavidMDrucker Executive Authority by POTUS is also a legitimate exercise of that office's power.
