@DavidMDrucker @DanFosterType How is this a solid for CC either way? What did he gain, personally?

@DraftRyan2016@DanFosterType I'm talking about the intent of the action, not the action itself. -
@DavidMDrucker I get that,what I'm missing from this is that aside from throwing a tantrum, what's the thought that the idea is good for CC? -
@DraftRyan2016 I'm telling you what they probably thought. I doubt they did this because they wanted to harm the gov. -
@DavidMDrucker Oh, I don't think that. I think it's more plausible staffer using their position to exert power for future races they'd work. -
@DraftRyan2016 I could buy that. -
@DavidMDrucker that makes the most sense. Especially, as@freddoso pointed out, CC actually won in Ft Lee, so it seems to be more internal.

@DavidMDrucker Sounds like something Nixon didn't get into with his staff. -
@RebeccaRKaplan: Nixon told his staff TO do more illegal stuff than they did. http://www.nytimes.com/1996/11/22/us/tapes-show-nixon-ordering-theft-of-files.html …. Mostly they humored him but didn't do.
