@DavidMDrucker @JohnJHarwood Um, Pew poll shows those blaming R's *fell* one point. Biggest shifts: -6 Obama and +5 "neither/don't know".

@trogdor8768@JohnJHarwood Those blaming Rs fell 1. Those blaming Obama fell 6. How should that be interpreted? -
@DavidMDrucker@JohnJHarwood MOE is 3.7. Also, different question was asked in last poll. Was 22-point diff in '95. -
@trogdor8768 I'm open to this POV but if blaming Obama drops 6 points for every 1 pt drop for GOP, I don't see how that isn't significant. -
@DavidMDrucker One poll does not a trend make. If the same ratio stands next week, then maybe that's something. - End of conversation

@DavidMDrucker Pew has who should compromise at 44-42. Doesn't seem that bad for GOP. What am I missing? -
@GWhistorian The polls aren't catastrophic yet. But they're not great.
-
@DavidMDrucker Obama's mediocre numbers may be helping GOP some. His position not as strong as Clinton's was. Could change as it goes on.
