Some cool exit-style polling from Texas following 2012 elex. Of note: @SenTedCruz lost Hispanic vote by 20 pts: http://washingtonexaminer.com/ted-cruz-poll-dems-have-edge-over-gop-among-hispanics-in-texas/article/2533470 …
@DeeinColumbiaMD Fair question as to how his defined positions on issues will affect his support among Hispanics.

@DavidMDrucker I don't think he or his party consider it. King like remarks r not the only way 2 create permanent rejection on par w/AA. -
@DeeinColumbiaMD Many in his party do consider it, as evidenced by the backlash King endured from conservatives. But it's still a problem. -
@DavidMDrucker Yes they consider King like overtly racist remarks but they don't consider the impact of policy. They don't think it matters. -
@DeeinColumbiaMD That's true of some but not all. -
@DavidMDrucker I guess we don't hear much from them. It's rare 4 ppl 2 speak of policy in terms of generating a big emotional response. -
@DeeinColumbiaMD Part of it is perception. If you assume only one policy is acceptable than it's hard to prove the point. -
@DavidMDrucker Some policies r game changers. PBO used ACA 2 get Latinos 2 come home despite no immigration reform & all the deportations.
