the problem with a conference is that means passing a bill we don't want @SissyWillis @ByronYork @kausmickey @DavidMDrucker
@kausmickey It's annoying, but it's not hard if they don't like the report. That's point of pre-conference agreement of some sort. Avoid.

@DavidMDrucker Normally I can see that but here there would be HUGE pressure from Obama/MSM/donors--maybe not fiscal cliff but big. -
@kausmickey Meh. It didn't work w/ health care - and that's when Obama was on top of the world & GOP was at lowest point since Wgate. -
@DavidMDrucker When didn't it work with health care? I'm missing the reference. thanks -
@kausmickey Tons of MSM pressure to support, plus high POTUS approvals, they still opposed -
@DavidMDrucker didn't it pass? -
@kausmickey Yeah, but not w/ GOP votes. Unanimous oppo even in Senate. Would have happened w/ GOP House or bigger R minority in Senate. -
@DavidMDrucker Seems to me pressure may be different when you are in majority but denying a floor vote, vs. in minority -
@kausmickey I'm not buying into the logic.This isn't fiscal cliff.
