Funny they didn't make this argument in the 60's when Dems controlled over 60 seats (min 63) for a decade. BTW splitting divided represented states GOP represents 47.35% of population and will probably go over 50% in a month. They need to Grow up.

It’s almost like you’re intentionally ignoring the point of these arguments. Not they the Founders didn’t have reason to create the system, but that current The GOP governs in a way that completely ignores the majority of the country and it is damaging the country’s health.

No attempt at bipartisanship or consensus. Cutthroat tactics to ram through conservative orthodoxy. A POTUS who holds campaign rallies a few months into office, saying Dems are for crime and rape and all kinds of BS.

No, we shouldn’t just change our system. But let’s not pretend the status quo is sustainable. It’s deepening a partisan divide and the perception it’s rigged. That’s what the conversation should about. Is GOP forcing us to a precipice we may not be able to avoid?

They made the senate to give the minority a voice but in the age of polarization and the fact that the small rural states are lagging behind most of the county on key issues it will be come a problem in the years to come

Having lived in California most of my life and also Utah, Oregon, Texas, Nebraska, and now Arkansas the idea that some are"lagging behind" is idiotic at best.
