100 percent agree. My main point is that sometimes they reject where a pol tries to lead them. And if a pol insists on doing something he/she thinks is right, & voters just don't agree, the pol's political courage is not rewarded.

well that's true but why would you reward a courageous moron? you might as well say "every medical journal told him not to, but Dr Smith injected the patient with poison anyway, killing them. He is therefore promoted to Chief of Medicine!" You want a mix of right and brave
