Delusional in the sense that I doubt either one wins. Like why aren’t dems treating someone who actually as a shot with this much fervor?
-
This race is now real. I've been a skeptic myself. But it's a real race.
-
How so? Pleas don’t say fundraising
-
data and fundraising. I still think Cruz wins. But this is a real race.
-
I don’t have access to data so I can’t comment on that. As for fundraising Cruz was only down last is saw, 2 million. Cruz is an incumbent with I’m sure super high name recognition. He doesn’t need to have more cash, he just needs to not get blown out in terms of it
-
Down $5 million as of June 30. Again my point isn't that he's going to lose. My point is that the race is competitive, something I didn't really believe until 10 days ago.

Houston and Austin inner city areas are Democrat, but the suburbs just outside are pro Trump. I believe this is the same in San Antonio and Dallas. There is a very big population in surrounding suburbs. President Trump will boost the Republican base to get out and vote
-
Exurbs pro-Trump. Some burbs also. But lot big TX burbs he's soft, especially w/ women. Doesn't mean Cruz loses but this issue in the burbs in is real.
-
I am a woman and I believe the only ones not for Trump are the ones who work inside the loop of Houston, maybe some in Galleria area. Same with Dallas area. I don’t know about San Antonio.

See what happens at the rally in October. Texas has some pretty big stadiums

That is true but these small suburbs like Rockwall and Heath will vote for him. We need a Bigger Concert/Rally for Beto. Will the Democratic party accomodate? This kind of competition will drive out all the voters.

Might help cruz in getting more rural turnout, but hurt House GOP members in more suburban districts.

In Trump’s view, “Weak on Borders” primarily means you stand up against separating families and locking children in cages. With Trump, you’re either in lock-step or you’re for open borders and looking to join a MS13 gang.

This isn’t surprising given how close Trump and Cruz have been. Memory jogger in case you have forgotten:https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/09/23/9-truly-awful-things-that-were-said-between-ted-cruz-and-the-man-hell-now-support-donald-trump/?utm_term=.7d0cf59caa7d …
