I mean, it really could only be done as a Peak TV show if it's going to be done at all. Impossible as a feature film. But it's going to be really challenging.

I *think* you're quite a bit younger than I (not a dig), but this sort of project has stressed me out since a bad version of The Martian Chronicles (one of my very favorites) in the 80s.

They need a good writing team. The concept & imaginative scope of that trilogy are superb, but the quality of the writing and often the shallowness of the characters are large flaws in the books. Some adaptations equal or surpass the original, though.
