Between 2012-2014, Paul Manafort steered approx $1.07 million to Mercury LLC for their lobbying efforts on behalf of then Ukrainian Pro-Russian Pres. Yanukovich.
Mercury is headed by Vin Weber, a former congressman & adviser to 2012 Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

Romney attacking Trump over Manafort-please!
-
I'm not sure where you're going w/ this. Why does that matter? Does it make Manafort less guilty?
-
Manafort is symptomatic of everything wrong with DC. And Romney, Weber, Podesta ad nauseam are all a part of it.
-
And he was Trump's campaign chairman during a critical time during the campaign. So POTUS has surrounded himself in part w/ the same people you view as part of the problem.

But actions speak louder than words.
-
Not in politics or geopolitics. Actions w/out words are less effective & possible undermined.
-
And what about words without matching actions? That was the major foreign policy plank of you know who.
-
...Yes it was, and my analysis was quite critical. But he's not president anymore.
-
Correct. But the MSM's hyperbolics over Helsinki was ridiculous in face of President Trump's actions. The hit pieces were prepared before Trump took any questions. Your industry is in shambles when it comes to objectivity. "Trump committed Treason"...what a joke!
-
The analysis and reporting in response to the Helsinki summit was largely justified. Actions & rhetoric carry equal weight. The media's myriad mistakes don't make POTUS' mistakes nonexistent.
-
Of course, but the guy isn't the Devil Incarnate. 90-95% negative stories for 3 years? That's more than bias, it's propaganda. Trump's style isn't textbook presidential and so what? He is getting things done & not intimidated by you guys. Very, very refreshing...

"Presidential rhetoric is important." I agree. But the Media "interpreters" seem to put an ugly spin to a lot of what Trump says. Why is that?pic.twitter.com/CQAoU5vOQ9

I speak for myself.
-
We all do . So how much weight should we give the interpreters? We decide right?
-
Your call. Entirely. All I can do is control myself.
