I think the Senate race will be competitive but I predict Blackburn pulls it out. But I think it's competitive because Bredesen is unique - a unicorn of sorts. My only argument was that TN tells us a lot about TN but not necessarily elsewhere.

Right it’s one state but th narrative was Tennessee is a senate battleground state. 717,000 republicans voted vs 378,000 democrats. That’s almost 2:1. Doesn’t seem very competitive
