Larry Kudlow is 100% behind tough actions, even tariffs, against China. See last week's CNBC interview ("Trump is doing exactly the right thing.") Trump is blessed to have two seasoned guys like Kudlow and Bolton advising him.

Just because Kudlow says this doesn't mean anything. His job is to advise and support, not advise and contradict. China is a special case where he might support tougher action for nat-sec, IP, reasons. It's one country Rs are more flexible on when it comes to Trump's tariffs.

Com'on, David, his agreement does mean something as does his disagreement on other matters. Watch the interview with Jim Kramer. According to Kudlow,Trump wants input from all sides, including advisors that don't agree with each other when planning. It's his style.
-
I never criticized anyone with this tweet, just made the point that presidents make policy. POTUS wants input, sure, but he has had the same views on trade for 40 years and now he's carrying out that policy. Kudlow has for years expressed opposite view...
