Germany, arguably, is helping BOTH by relying on Putin’s gas & doing business with the Mullahs via the Iran Deal. Should we not take Angela’s calls?

Worthy pointing raise: I didn’t say we shouldn’t take their calls, just that we should recognize that they’re an adversary and ensure any “getting along” is done on our terms. (And Germany, hardly flawless, isn’t Russia in this regard.)

I think we can both agree that the alliance chess board looked a LOT different in 2016 than it did in 2008 and a LARGE part of that had to do w/the Iran Deal. That gave “the world order” quite a shove.
