Unless he’s trying to accomplish something there’s no need. UK @ 2% NATO spending, but he’s likely to keep throwing weight around until his trade balance makes some progress and he can have some deals to nail up in the Oval Office.

the UK's response to Trump's election, beyond the 5 eyes crap they pulled during the actual election, has been unmitigated hostility. May denounces him in virtually every weekly PMQ. I honestly don't think they have a leg to stand on if they don't like Trump doing it back

More so Corbyn but yah her to, she’s got constituents to placate just like Trump, they understand this. I wouldn’t call it unmitigated hostility, like I wouldn’t call Trump @ NATO/G7 Hostile just direct(semantics). Trades been decent and improving w/ UK. Plus a nuclear partner
-
the UK has mothballed most of their navy. they don't even have a carrier anymore. Corbyn wants to get rid of their nukes if they want people to treat them like a serious partner, they have to act like a serious partner. this junk with the EU trade deal was denounced by Tories-
