Wanting to get a better deal established & more participation from members doesn’t mean he doesn’t believe in its intrinsic value. I think it signals quite the opposite. He’s telling them they are not taking this alliance & Russian threat seriously, we r. It’s clear as day to me.

Trump never says what you just said. Hence it's not clear as day to me. His remarks today re the pipeline did not communicate this.
