Shouldn't merge the efforts. There's an immigration bill in the House and an Immigrant Family Separation/Adjudication bill coming in the Senate. Former is complicated, latter is not. A GOP Senate cannot pass the Feinstein bill. The House would never even bring it up because even Rs that oppose family separations would find it objectionable on policy.
