I agree with you that they're solidly conservative (except for maybe some compromise trial-court picks), but the judicial nominees tend to be better qualified than the executive-branch picks (not uniformly so, but in general).

.I'm a huge fan of your work. My point wasn't whether these picks are "solidly conservative" but whether anyone could confidently assume they are, given the extremely weak vetting typical of this administration so far.

The vetting of this administration is, as you note, pretty terrible! But on judicial noms, @FedSoc & @Heritage play significant roles. And White House Counsel's office is also more careful than White House in general. (1/2)
