@DavidLat When covering legal salaries, could you please cover non-biglaw too? Would be nice to know prospects for nonprofit, solo, etc.
We try, but it's tough because there's more variation, less transparency, and fewer sources willing to come forward.

Yes. Not many firms have outright bans (
@JonesDay is an exception), but what's legal & what's prudent are two different things. -
Is it prudent for JD to risk an NLRA class action over such a policy? I thought firms were broadly averse to such legal risks.

I meant prudent in terms of people coming forward to share their salaries. Everyone thinks someone else will do it. It's too bad.

IME the same is true of virtually all personal rights whose exercise goes against some credible threat of retribution.
