I appreciate the thread; I will work through your analysis at some point today (probably after the kids are in bed). It's hard to reconcile Kavanaugh's claim that he thought it was common for such Rs and Ds to share such information with the "bloodsport" reality you've described.

Do you think he had no inclination that there was anything "untoward" about the information he was using? My quick sense of the thread was it's possible Kavanaugh was not unethically dishonest and probable that he wasn't criminally so.
