There are not two but five examples here: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2018/09/five-times-brett-kavanaugh-appears-to-have-lied-to-congress-while-under-oath/ … IMO Kav’s dishonesty under oath is grayer than you make out and there is a consistent pattern here

David LatVerified account @DavidLatSome have asked about the Pickering "perjury" claim. No long thread necessary; to state the claim is to refute it. Read my Pryor thread, then read this summary of the Pickering claim from@MotherJones (no Kavanaugh cheerleaders).#SCOTUS#KavanaughHearings pic.twitter.com/guoyNGm0GR1 reply 45 retweets 70 likes -

Lol. Bro. We can agree what's being spewed out here is wrong, but please don't try to make this a one-sided thing or pretend like this isn't happening at all from the other side.

Did it happen to RBG, Breyer; Sotomayor or Kagan?

Not to the same extent, but some attacks on Sotomayor misrepresented things she had said and crossed the line. http://volokh.com/posts/1244505308.shtml …

Great post, @jadler1969; couldn't agree with you more on "(re)establish[ing] a norm of focusing on a nominee's experience & credentials, instead of their judicial philosophy." Not that looking at philosophy is totally illegitimate, but "focus" is right word.
