@senatorshoshana -- In fact, the lack of reveal suggests it isn't juicy at all. It's a compound question -- as any prosecutor or defense lawyer would recognize. The firm has 200+ lawyers (http://www.kasowitz.com/people/all/ ) and presumably an equivalent number of staff.

Then why not just, “no”?
-
That would be a legitimate answer (as would the slightly better "not that I'm aware of.") But the "no" answer is good in law -- less good in politics. Harris would have done "gotcha" and the honest answer would become only a foil.
-
Judge Kavanaugh came closer to an outright "no" in this morning's session, in response to Sen.
@OrrinHatch's questioning. But BK still has enough cover in case something DOES come up.#SCOTUS#KavanaughConfirmation#KavanaughConfirmationHearings

He stammered around as though she had asked him if he had ever visited Neverland. It’s actually not that hard to remember where people work and what you talk about with them. I know this because I also have experience talking to employed people.
-
Heck, I can't keep track of which of my friends work at which firms, especially in a town like DC. Crappy questioning leads to results like this.

I depose, examine, and cross-examine witnesses routinely and have for decades. He was doing a masterful job of being evasive. Very well schooled witness.

It seems obvious to me that there wasn't a there there. Designed wholly to create the impression of impropriety. The

Because it was a perjury trap, albeit a pathetic attempt at one.

Of course, so too was the
@CoryBooker "I am Spartacus" reveal a big nothingburger (beyond establishing that the "committee confidential" shield has been too high). So the Presidential aspirants on the left flank of the left phalanx of the dais are playing a similar game.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

He didn't answer yet greatly obfuscated over the relevant question. Also: https://twitter.com/Music_959/status/1038123901535117312 … The refresh is a defensive mechanism, he loses nothing by it but covers his obfuscating Again GB w the same knee jerk subjective pattern his pinned tweet allegedly rejects.

An attorney called me a few weeks ago about a case we handled 7 or 8 years ago. Without assistance, I didn't remember him, my client, or any of the issues in the case.
