Some context & additional info re: this post by @ElieNYC:
1. No, @SChuaRubenfeld (daughter of @AmyChua) won't be clerking for a Justice Kavanaugh on #SCOTUS anytime soon; she did college ROTC & owes her next few years to the military.https://twitter.com/atlblog/status/1017799480161263616 …

4. If people want to attack Judge Kavanaugh's jurisprudence, that's fine - but personal attacks on him and his supporters are unfortunate.

You could owe it to the fact that growing up she had a law prof Mom and probably had a good source to go to if she was confused about anything in her classes. My classmates with lawyer parents definitely benefited from that resource, even though they weren’t writing their exams.

more from law prof Dad, the black letter wiz of the fam :) but yes I was/am so lucky to have that resource. often think of Mom's take on law school: "you're not just here to get gold stars; you're here to learn to be someone's lawyer. so learn from anyone and everyone you can."
-
That’s a good message to give law students. Although a bit wasted at Yale (and most top law schools) since hardly anyone goes on to be a real person’s lawyer.
