Some context & additional info re: this post by @ElieNYC:
1. No, @SChuaRubenfeld (daughter of @AmyChua) won't be clerking for a Justice Kavanaugh on #SCOTUS anytime soon; she did college ROTC & owes her next few years to the military.https://twitter.com/atlblog/status/1017799480161263616 …

3. Most
#lawschool grading is blind, so@SChuaRubenfeld doesn't owe her grades (or@YaleLJournal membership or other credentials) to her parents being@YaleLawSch faculty.Show this thread -
4. If people want to attack Judge Kavanaugh's jurisprudence, that's fine - but personal attacks on him and his supporters are unfortunate.

just out of curiousity, how do you know what her transcript looks like, and what does a 'perfect transcript' at yale law school even mean? Isn't it just a pass/fail system? And don't most students therefore have a 'perfect transcript'?
-
No it’s HP/P/F. I don’t know if she’s perfectly HP, but, from what I garner, yes. HP is really hard to earn, perhaps more so than an A under Harvard’s old system. I hope Lat can clarify what he means by Perfect Transcript, though.

Do you believe the law system to be a meritocracy?
