But you're subject to legitimate criticism too. I'm more than happy to read Elie's takes, but that doesn't exempt you from criticism (for what I see as) false "objectivity" in your pieces.

Sure! I take (& often respond to) legitimate criticism all day here on Twitter. And the false objectivity critique of my
#SCOTUS work has been made in@ATLblog repeatedly by the 3 colleagues I mentioned (e.g., this post by@Kathryn1: http://bit.ly/2ufP5r8 ). -
Fair. And this extends to everyone in the media - I feel that the media's obsession with being "objective" has resulted in people being underinformed about consequences of events and decisions, which also undermines the media's legitimacy (or people's opinion of its usefulness).
