Excellent #SCOTUSnominee acceptance speech by Judge Brett Kavanaugh, sounding all the right and traditional themes - family, public service, the rule of law - and also diversity (e.g., in his law clerk hiring). #SCOTUS #SCOTUSpick

It won’t be so great when he rules in favor of the “religious liberty”/license to discriminate and you and your partner (and us other LGBTQ folks) aren’t allowed to dine at certain restaurants or shop at certain stores.

I sincerely doubt that’s going to happen any time soon, since 6 justices joined this in Masterpiece:pic.twitter.com/z2gE820bHQ

Marriage equality may be “safe” but it doesn’t help much when you get fired from your job, or can’t use public services.

Something like 30 states don’t have public accommodation or workplace discrimination laws for homosexuals. And yet gays are still able to get jobs and go to restaurants in those states.

His opening paen to Trump for the best-ever, most thorough, most comprehensive and generally awesome search process was nauseating.

Seriously?! The guy who believes that a president shouldn’t be burdened by lawsuits and can’t be indicted is a “diversity” hire?

I have to imagine Kagan is very pleased just as Scalia was with her nomination.

Nothing screams diversity like Kavanaugh wearing same suit and same tie as Trump. I guess he stumps for janitors of color.
