I don't see any Democrat wanting to be a deciding "aye" vote, and none of the "nay" on Barrett's circuit confirmation will move to "aye." (Kaine will almost assuredly move to "nay.")

Yes, but I don't think any Dem will be in that position - I think the
#SCOTUSnominee will get at least two out of the Donnelly/Heitkamp/Manchin trio. And I also think there's a strong chance the#SCOTUS nominee will keep Collins (depending on who it is). -
I haven’t been following the situation with McCain very closely—if they have 49 is there any chance he might come back to vote?
-
Not clear - but I think
#SCOTUS is important enough such that McCain would step down & allow (Republican governor)@DougDucey to appoint a successor if necessary - seehttp://bit.ly/2IPRFcJ -
I think it depends on who the nominee is and what reassurances McCain gets. My understanding is that McCain has made plain to Ducey that his chosen successor is his wife, and not (hypothetically) Arpaio.

Anyone who thinks Trump goes with anyone but Barrett because she's a hot chick is nuts.
