@DavidLat, was it Judge Amy Coney Barrett who got two interviews from @realDonaldTrump?
No, he (and others) report 7 candidates, believed to be Barrett, Hardiman, Kavanaugh, Kethledge, Larsen, Lee, Thapar.

I saw a
@FoxNews segment in which@johnrobertsFox said that@realDonaldTrump called Sen. Lee for advice for the "actual" candidates, but Lee apparently misunderstood. I know. It is hard to believe, but I heard it with my own hears. -
Fair enough - I noted how the
@WhiteHouse declined to say the call with Lee was in a#SCOTUSnominee capacity (even though Lee's people did) - but if there's a seventh judicial#SCOTUS interviewee, I don't think that person's identity is widely known yet. -
My bet is Barrett got interviewed twice. Maybe encouraged by Mike Pence who was the governor of Indiana. You said it yourself. Her interview was awfully short and went "poorly". At least the first time around... I suspect we'll learn more after
@realDonaldTrump has picked one.

How did Larsen's interview reportedly go? She seems to be least mentioned of top tier. Was she ever a serious contender for this opening and/or regarded as such for future ones?
