Oh really, get a grip. Where does the EU get its money? From us. We hand it over, they give a little back and tell us where to spend it.

You do realise how this works right?

Yes we send a contribution to EU projects as part of our membership, we get some of that back, in return for access to the single market (massive benefit), customs union, the right to live and work where we want, cooperation with security forces to keep us safe.

Which kinda begs the question of why the EU is better at distributing funds within the UK than the UK's own government is, does it not ?

#Cornwall gets massive ERDF and ESF funding from EU currently, only a share of £33m in this, shared with rest of massive and meaningless "South West" region. -
That £33m is less than what Chris Grayling has cost the taxpayer.
