Sure it did - by not prosecuting crime, it does technically go down. And when you stop prosecuting crime, citizens no longer bother reporting crime. So yes, crime is up 75%, but down. Also, if you go left far enough, you’ll be right.

It pains me to agree with
@JohnSungKim but I live in SF and have first hand experience. The process to get an officer to come and file report after a break in is an obvious deterrent to victims of crime.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
Since I posted this my entire apartment building's mailbox was broken into again. None of my neighbors are calling the police because they feel it will be pointless. I live in the Marina.
