Breaking: was released from DSS’ detention on bail today. He is now with his family. It’s not over but I’m glad he’ll be home to celebrate Yuletide with his family. We shall overcome.

OK o, go and replicate Ray Dalio's story. Because he definitely told us the whole story and didn't leave out large, important parts of it. He just started trading from his flat in New York and turned his $1 into $1 million through hard work lol. One born every minute.

Do you know that Lebanon's central bank secretly operated a state-sanctioned ponzi scheme between 2016 and 2019? In this column I draw parallels between Riad Salamé's doomed "Financial Engineering" policy and Godwin Emefiele's insistence on command-and-control monetary policy.

This was one of the funniest things we ever created on and I'm proud to have edited this. Shame the joke went over the audience's heads (which became a theme) but is a genuinely funny guy🤣

Instead of regulating ORide and collecting hundreds of millions of naira in taxes from it annually, ban it instead! Then complain afterward that the unreliable trickle of informal tax revenue from unregulated bike taxis is too small🥴🥴🥴

Force everyone into one underground black economy or the other, then complain that your tax revenue and GDP figures are too widely divergent. I mean what on earth could be the reason!🥴

An African govt will complain that people don't pay tax, but instead of deregulation the economy to encourage business activity that can form a tax base, will go around banning everything it can get its hands on. Because people exist at the pleasure of the state lol. Dumbasses.

"Florida man" really has nothing on Nigeria. This country is a dystopian Netflix series, I'm sure of it. We're Bandersnatch 2.0

There's a reason why these "investment schemes" are only popular in low income areas. You'll never see people in the Hamptons or Battersea talking about getting rich off one dodgy yield program or the other. It's always Kunle Brixton and his cousins in Somolu.

I guess they must have terminated Eurasia's contract and now you're coming out of the woodwork with criticism of the same bullshit you were praising 5 minutes ago. You're the sort of shameless human being that shameless human beings aspire to be. A completely repulsive person.

I’m doing my part to educate people. It’s my goal to educate more income earners like myself. I’m willing to give one of your followers 100% discount to my January 2021 Investment Class. Cost is N10,000 if they paid.

Every compulsive gambler is similarly convinced that some kind of strategy exists with which they will someday beat the house. I think an NGO should sponsor to educate Nigerians for free in basic financial literacy so we don't keep having thoughts like this.
