In the last 24 hours, ten of my very old and SILENT youtube videos have generated copyright infringement emails from @YouTube @Google.
Nine of the claims were on behalf of The Orchard Music whose music most definitely isn't infringed by silence @YTCreators http://www.aviewfromthecyclepath.com/2019/05/the-first-cycle-campaigning-youtube.html …

I wrote that last night. It had taken an hour of my day to object to the day's fraudulent claims & more came in before I'd finished writing the blog post. This morning's email brought more claims from The Orchard Music which I'll have to waste more time on later

Why do you keep on allowing The Orchard Music to claim the copyright on my silent videos
@youtube@google@YTCreators ? How many people don't fight these claims so are defrauded by this ?3 replies 1 retweet 10 likesShow this thread -

If you believe this is an error, you can dispute a Content ID claim by following these steps: https://yt.be/help/LKJN . You'll receive a response accordingly. Hope this helps.

I have followed that procedure **hundreds** of times. It has cost me many hours of time to do so. Unfortunately, it doesn't resolve anything because the next day there are more claims of copyright infringement, against the same videos with silent sound tracks. Fix the bug !

How can your algorithms not tell the difference between music and silence ? Why do you continue to enable companies like The Orchard Music to exploit this weakness in your software to claim ownership of videos which belong to other people ? The system is broken.
