Well, it's reasonable for Kushner to think that a guy who gets away with bombing civilians in Yemen can spin his way out of this, right? But Kushner is also *hoping* for that.https://twitter.com/JohnJHarwood/status/1053118683877384192 …

Didn’t Jared also argue that firing Comey would be a good idea?

Yes, he did. Jared convinced Trump that the dems would be so happy b/c of the Hillary email thing. He was spectacularly wrong. Jared is a legend in his own mind. Often in error, never in doubt.

But, can Mr. Kushner survive this outrage? Me thinks not. Especially, since he and his father-in-law keep inserting themselves into the situation. Makes me wonder about Trump's "We don't care what other countries do..." UN speech. Was he giving permission? WhatsApp?

@JaredKusher and @realDonaldTrump don't see the horrific murder of Mr. Khashoggi as a crime or tragedy, they see this as a feasibility study for whether they get away with it here.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5575395/amp/Saudi-crown-prince-brags-Jared-Kushner-handed-U-S-intelligence.html …

Someone has posted the previous edit, where the reporter or Kushner actually details what Kushner says has blown over, so this will, too: the children's bus bombing in Yemen and kidnapping the Lebanese prime minister.
