And took up arms against the United States of America, despite being a West Point grad and a commissioned officer in the United States Army. I'm pretty sure there is a word for that.

He was a traitor to his country. He lost because of the immoral cause he fought for. William Tecumseh Sherman and Ulysses S. Grant were U.S. generals who defeated the rebellion because they were on the moral side of maintaining the Union and giving freedom to the slaves.

I would hv thought a man who prefers soldiers who didn’t get captured would prefer generals who didn’t lose wars.

Seems to me taking up arms and leading an army against the United States is worse than taking a knee during the national anthem.....

And, as a Black man of this the year 2000 and 18, I can say, without fear or folly and with strong batteries of logic and facts that alone sweep away any bewilderment as to HIS bloody dissuaded victory being my enslavement, with braced tone, Fuck General Robert E. Lee.

Robert E Lee was a Racist Wight Supremacist who was willing to die in order to uphold the institution of slavery. The Civil War was about the institution of Slavery. Racist trolls want to rewrite History but lack the knowledge & intelligence to do so.
-
Revisionism is hilarious. In swatting the charge of their horrifically stupid angle, never forget, when one hears the fake argument that 'the civil war wasn't over slavery': ...it was for the slaves. From the golden tone of my brown skin let me say MUTHA-F#CK Robert E. LEE
-
Racially sick individuals like to play those games, it's a form of Racial antagonism they enjoy reveling in. Their other favorite is to compare Chattel Slavery to Indentured Servitude.
-
Yep...true dat! However in this particular case...I'm gonna follow you to fight the idea of discord. and did I say...DOUBLE MUTHA-F#CK ROBERT E. LEE?

To be fair he was a great tactician the south shouldn’t have made it as far into the war as they did. The problem, his beliefs and being on the wrong side of history.
-
I know a thing or 2 about him.
